About Me

I’m co-founder of Emerge Tools, building developer tools to simplify mobile apps. I started Emerge in 2020 with my co-founder from ThnkDev, after having 5 years of experience as an iOS and backend engineer at Airbnb. I’m also president of Palisades Beautiful, a nonprofit to beautify Pacific Palisades after the 2025 wildfires. In my free time I hike, swim, backpack, and scuba dive.

Previous Experience

I'm a USC graduate with a masters in Computer Science. I received my undergraduate degree in Computer Engineering from UC San Diego. As a research project with Professor Papadopoulos I developed a UDT based data transfer tool called Warp. In my Junior year I constructed a virtual reality rock climbing wall which combined an oculus dev kit, playstation move, and leap motion for an immersive mixed reality experience. I also developed the Apple award winning Keypress, initially made during HackSC.

I interned at Amazon Lab126, working on the Kindle Fire tablets in summer 2013. In the summer of 2014 I interned at Yelp developing new features for the Android app such as Your Next Review Awaits, a redesigned nearby page, and photo improvements as part of the mobile team. In the summer of 2015 I worked on an iOS app during an internship at Apple.

As co-founder of ThnkDev I created popular Mac and iOS apps including QuickRes, Screenie - Snapped, a Snapchat client for Mac, and Fire, a Tinder photo optimizer.
